DUNLOP ROLLS DOWN UNDER: V8 SUPERCARS AUSTRALIA RACING
Dunlop is proud to continue the company's 40 year history with Australian motorsport through its role as Official Tyre Supplier to V8 Supercars Australia. In 2006, Dunlop will spend more than 22,000 man hours producing over 7,000 tires for the V8 Supercar Championship Series and Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series. It is compulsory for all V8 Supercar Teams to use the wet and dry control tires; however, the number allocated to each team at each Round is limited. The specially designed Dunlop tires will grip 15 different track surfaces at speeds exceeding 290 km/hour and cope with track temperatures ranging from 10 to 55 degrees. Since 2002, Dunlop's presence at Australia's premier motorsport category, V8 Supercars, has been felt throughout Australia and internationally in New Zealand and China.
